Live Globally’s heart beats in Kenya, where more than 15 years ago a man named Douglas Monene began rescuing children from the harsh realities of the Matopeni and Kayole informal settlements in Nairobi. With nothing more than determination, borrowed space, and a vision, he created a small gathering place where children could learn and be safe. That humble beginning grew into Ingrid School, a refuge of hope that today serves more than 310 childre – offering not only education, but dignity, nourishment, and the chance to dream.
With your support, Ingrid School has been transformed from a few run-down classrooms into what is now recognized as one of the most child-friendly and model schools in the community. Together we have:
* Built classrooms that are bright, safe, and welcoming.
* Provided daily meals so children can learn without hunger.
* Supplied textbooks, desks, and basic materials that so many take for granted.
* Funded teacher salaries so that quality education can be sustained.
LiveGlobally funded the construction of Ingrid School and secured its very first plot of land.

Although Ingrid School remains our primary focus, Live Globally has always responded to urgent needs across the planet. Because our vision is not bound by borders, but by connection. Over the years, we have:
– Brought clean water to Costa Rica – completing a community project that now provides fresh, safe drinking water where once there was scarcity.
– Sponsored orphaned baby elephants at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya – helping to rescue and nurture these magnificent beings, giving them a second chance at life in the wild.
These projects remind us that whether it is a child in Kenya, a family in Costa Rica, or an elephant calf in need of care, we are all part of one living web. When we act together with compassion, life thrives.
